Story

Men and women live in giant silos underground with few rules that they believe will protect them from the toxic and broken world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the stuff of science fiction. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "The Wool" – the book has 82 chapters.. The fans on the floor turn the wrong way in various episodes, due to the orientation of the blades.

I really liked The Silo

WatchMojo shows: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Overeat (2023). Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. However, I had never read or heard of the books that The Silo is based on.

The story is good and interesting

The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are left now live in silos, and these people have never been outside the silos. They don’t even know what stars are. But they know that going outside the silos is deadly.

The acting is good, as is the character development

Some people choose to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the silos can witness through the window every time someone wants to leave, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays the lead role as Juliette Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silos and why they can’t leave without dying. However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are a few filler episodes.

I’m looking forward to season 2, which will have more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s going on outside the silos!

They could definitely have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me too much, because the series as a whole is very good.
